10 Names Of The New Jerusalem City! (Part-1)

And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Luke‬ ‭24:49‬.

  • City of Truth — New Jerusalem City is called the city of truth because the people going there have been set free by the truth. John 8:32. Prior to being set free by the Truth, they were in bondage; being slaves to sin and death. They were delivered from that bondage by the death of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain. Zechariah‬ ‭8:3‬. ❤️
  • City of Righteousness — New Jerusalem City is called the city of righteousness because the people inheriting this city are clothed with the righteousness of God. And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. Isaiah‬ ‭1:26‬. Righteousness means obedience to God’s laws and commandments. At water baptism, we first attain His righteousness and there on grow into the fullness of His stature. Mathew 3:15. ❤️
  • The Faithful City — New Jerusalem City is called the faithful city because the people inheriting this city were faithful to God throughout their life on earth —they were Called, Chosen and Faithful. And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. Isaiah‬ ‭1:26‬. At the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we become faithful witnesses to God. Acts 1:8, Revelation 1:5. ❤️

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. Psalms‬ ‭46:4. The River refers to the Water of Life, whose origin is from the throne of God and of the Lamb. Revelation 22:1. Whosoever drinks of this River experiences divine healing or health. And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh. Ezekiel‬ ‭47:9‬. ❤️
  • The Holy Mountain — New Jerusalem City is called the holy mountain because it is the dwelling place of the Lord of hosts. Mt. Zion is the capital of this city.
