3 must have ingredients in a believers heart

Sin did a terrible work in man. Completely stripped him of everything good in him, damaging him mentally, emotionally and physically.

Nevertheless, through Christ our lives are restored in Jesus, by His word and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

THANKFUL

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (Romans 1:21)

Why do believers fall away from the faith? Because they first distance from God, lose their first love. Life then becomes a burden where you end up carrying baggage, instead of just the necessary luggage. When we do not give the glory to God, and be thankful, our mind is filled with the vanity of this world. Leaving our heart darkened by foolishness.

DILIGENT

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23)

We need to preserve our heart, protect it from the darkness that is always trying to enter. The darkness is this world of sin and its vanities. The only way to keep the heart is by loving the Word of God. When we love God, and walk in His words, our heart is strengthened to face the trials and overcome temptations that come at us.

SOUND

A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones. (Proverbs 14:30)

Not only do we need a sound mind, we need a sound heart too. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and LIFE." When Jesus is in our heart we come alive. We are full of love, and have a zest for this life. To live is Christ, and die is gain. What hinders us? Jealousy, anger, hatred, etc.

Always check your heart before you check in for the day. Be filled with the love of God, to love the world around you better. Pray in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, pray with understanding, and you will experience your burdens lifted away.
