7 types of blessings reserved for people who seek the Lord daily! [2/2]

“Seeking the Lord daily” is not as simple like it sounds! 🙂 It is a conscious decision, to be made everyday.

However, God’s blessings are for all those who really seek Him; wholeheartedly. We all desire God to bless our lives, don’t we? Yes indeed! The Lord does not force us to seek or obey Him. It’s totally upto us!! Nevertheless, Father God showed us an example in Christ — throughout His life and ministry on earth, He went about seeking to do the Father’s will. The Word of God is proof of how God blessed Jesus’ life and ministry.

So then...!! Here’s the second part of the 7 blessings the Lord has reserved for them who seek Him daily!

People who seek God will never be forsaken!

The people of Nineveh had gone completely against God; so much so that their wickedness had reached before His presence. So, before destroying that city, God asked prophet Jonah to go to that city and warn the people about the impending danger. Jonah 3:1-3. As soon as they heard Jonah, the whole city believed the word of God and humbled themselves before God. The people of Nineveh believed and trusted in God; and they proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth [in penitent mourning], from the greatest even to the least of them. Jonah‬ ‭3:5‬. In brief, the Lord heard their cry and confession of repenting from their wicked ways and changed His mind. They were not forsaken.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Psalms‬ ‭9:10.

They will be glad and joyful

Hannah sought the Lord when she was vexed in her spirit. Peninnah, her husband’s first wife used to regularly annoy her because Hannah was a barren woman. Unable to take the accusations any longer, Hannah made the decision of going to God’s presence and pouring out her complaint to Him. 1 Samuel 1:9-13. The Lord remembered her. And, it came about that in due time, the Lord helped her become a joyful mother to a healthy baby boy!!

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. Psalms‬ ‭70:4‬

They will walk at liberty

Jesus redeemed us through His precious blood and forgave our sins according to the riches of His grace. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John‬ ‭8:32‬. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus makes us free and helps to walk in liberty from the law of sin and death, thereby becoming servants of righteousness. That’s how Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden prior to disobeying the only commandment God gave them. So as New Testament believers, let’s desire to walk daily in the freedom which Jesus gave us by paying the price for our redemption.

And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. Psalms‬ ‭119:45.

They will be strong

Along with seeking God daily, all those who wait upon Him will renew their strength. The Lord gives His strength to those who are weary, and to them who have no might, He increases their strength.

Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore. Psalms‬ ‭105:4‬. May the Lord help us!

Be blessed! 💕
