Are you an angry person?

Most of us often give in to anger and hurt others in the process. Anger is a terrible spirit to host in our hearts.“And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.” Acts‬ ‭7:22‬ ‭All the intelligence and skills of Moses were of no use when it came to controlling his own spirit.Moses ended up killing an Egyptian. When passions arise in us, we often tend to lose control and react fleshly.Paul, the apostle, was passionate about killing Christians before his transformation. Our passions need to be converted for the glory of God.When sin entered, man became corrupt mentally, emotionally and physically. Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.This body and it's weakness to carnal appetites can be brought under control and rest only by the power of the Holy Spirit.“Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭Allowing anger to control your spirit is unwise, and foolish. If a matter needs immediate response, be calm and patient before you react. A hasty step disrupts relationships, lasting years and sometimes become irreparable. From 40 years in the palace to another 40 years being a shepherd, Moses became the meekest man on earth.“(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)” Numbers‬ ‭12:3‬ ‭Moses became a leader only after he was processed in humility.Paul became a great apostle only after he submitted wholly to Jesus. My prayer for you dear reader, and for myself is, that we grow in humility above everything. Never rest on our upbringing or laurels or expertise. Only on the transformational love of Jesus.May God bless your heart!
