How to explain to my religious friend about my relationship with God?
You cannot. You must show it to Him - Like Jesus did 2000 years ago.
Why do Christian youth struggle talking about Jesus? One reason is that they have information and not knowledge.
What's the difference?
Information refers to raw data or facts. It’s like having a collection of pieces without understanding how they fit together.
Knowledge, on the other hand, involves understanding, interpreting, and applying that information. It means knowing how to use the information effectively and seeing the bigger picture.
We gain knowledge when we,
listen to the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:8-16)
apply the Word in obedience.
When we apply God's knowledge in our daily lives, others will begin to see how different we are. What will they see? We are not simply hearers but doers of the word. We don't follow religion but Jesus.
When they see us live a different life, they will ask questions. Every question is an opportunity to tell them about your love for Jesus and why you live a different life. You become the Bible they have never read.
Put in the same work necessary for any love relationship like you do with Jesus. You will not only see the difference, but become the difference.
Ask in prayer, and God will help. He loves it when His children get into a serious relationship with Him.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen
