How To Live In this World?

To live in this world we need to give up this world. Strange? Not to those who have entered into this marvellous life in christ.

As believers our lifestyle needs to be rooted in the word of God. We are powered by the Holy Spirit. A world created by Jesus, revealed by the Word, necessitates living in Christ alone. Jesus Christ, who is the word of God.

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, (Ephesians 1:16,17)

In His encounter with Satan, Jesus responded with authority and power. he made it very clear for believers to trust in the word of God to live on earth.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)

There is no other way to live.

Every other way, is against Jesus, against the truth, the wrong way. Just being good is nice. But, nice cannot get us to heaven. Remember, Jesus did not die on the cross and then rise again from the dead for us to just be nice.

How does staying in God's word help us live in this world?

Living outside of God’s word puts us outside of God’s presence. how do we step outside of God's presence? when our offerings of praise and thanksgiving isn't acceptable to God. When we stay outside of God’s presence we end up having to battle sin and sinful natures. (Genesis 4:5,7)

As long as we stay in the word of God and be led by the Holy Spirit, we stay away from sins and fears that cripple our walk with God.

When we stay in the word, God protects us from false brethren, false apostles, false teachers, false prophets and false conversions. The truth of God's word preserves us from the lies of this world.

Love the word of God.
Love Jesus.
We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit as practicing Christians.
Jesus is coming soon.
Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
