The Joy Of Salvation Produces Praise And Glory To God

Is God your salvation? Then He will be your trust and strength (Isaiah 12:2-6). The joy we received when we first accepted Jesus (Psalms 51:12) helps us dive deeper into the spiritual blessings received in heavenly places (Ephesians 3:1).

How does one react to God being his salvation? What is the state of the heart of those who walk as believers?

  1. Praise the Lord

  2. Call upon His name

  3. Declare all His doings

  4. Make mention to exalt His name

  5. Sing of God's excellence

  6. Cry out (for the lost)

  7. Shout (His praises)

Do you experience the above lifestyle of praise to God as a believer? Our life is one of worship to the only One who deserves all the glory.

All of the above is evident in carnal men. Sadly, all the praise and glory get directed to self or man.

Did you watch Fifa 2022? Or at least you've heard about the last soccer World Cup held in December. The fans are reminiscent of the gladiator days. Shouting and screaming their hearts out. The cameras focus on the joy and excitement among fans as their teams score goals.

Sports are entertainment. Entertainment creates happiness that is fleshly and not godly. If you find joy in sports and worldly entertainment, you will not be able to experience the joy of the Lord.

God's love radically transforms our source of joy from earth to heaven

God delivered us from terrible darkness and brought us into His marvelous light to praise Him (1 Peter 2:9).

To naturally praise God, we need to (naturally) love Him. To naturally love God, one must be born again. You are born again, dear believer. Worship the Lord in the beauty of His Holiness.

Praise Him, magnify His name. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
