Wait On The Holy Spirit To Talk To You

A pastor went to a house to pray where two daughters weren't attending church. One ran away before the pastor reached home. The other, elder daughter, came late after work. The pastor requested the elder daughter to pray sincerely in the meeting held at the house. God spoke to her and showed her that she was lost spiritually. Then the pastor prayed for the missing sister. The elder daughter saw a vision of evil spirits departing from her sister.

Despite the elder daughter being disobedient all these years, a sincere prayer opened her up to the Spirit's leading.

Are you Spirit-led, dear believer?

  • Jesus spent 40 days and nights in prayer before being led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

  • God led Israel out of Egypt into the wilderness.

  • The Spirit of God led Prophets and Men of faith out of their comfort zones to live for God, and save souls.

  • Ruth left her father's house and went through suffering to gain God. She sowed in love and reaped bountifully. The Spirit of God gave her the inner strength to go through the trials.

Is our fellowship with the Holy Spirit? (Romans 8:16) God hasn't changed. He still deals with each one through His Spirit. As believers, we must be reminded and guided by the Spirit to progress spiritually (John 14:26/15:26).

What's critical to walking in the Spirit's leading? A dedicated prayer life and meditation on God's word.

Stop. Take five minutes to think and reflect on your current walk. Renew yourself. Get back to keeping Christ first.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
