Depending on God alone is the best way to live

Are you relying on God or man? In a world where being socially connected to network is a norm. Have we eased into depending on others? When we avoid taking God's help, we invite unnecessary battles in life. God desires total dependence on Him. Why not? He is our Heavenly Father!

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

2 CHronicles 16:9

The best way to live is by trusting God

God's eyes are going to and fro, searching for those who wholeheartedly depend on Him alone.

King Asa depended on King Aram of Syria instead of God to fight King Baasha. He used his wealth to solve the situation, rather than trust in the outstretched hand of God. Not only did he take the easy way, he put the prophet in prison who brought word from the Lord.

When we have much materially, we end up using the power of our abundant resources to solve problems rather than turn to God in prayer. Living in earthly riches brings its own traps, weakening us spiritually. We end up moving away from the character of God. Get bitter and angry, rather than repent and stay humble.

There was a time when Pastors and Elders would wait on God to build a church. A common scene in Pentecostal environment is God showing a place, when the church does not even have the capacity to purchase. In time, God not only provides the place for a church, but also the resources.

We live in a time of great abundance. Examine your life to arrest every form of convenience that affects your walk with God. The end is near. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
