How Can Someone Become A King?

The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. Proverbs‬ ‭21:1‬

Solomon, the wisest and richest king, had a clear understanding of how God led a king with the kingdom affairs. In the Scriptures, during the Old Testament period, kings were chosen by God. They were anointed using Holy Oil and God specially led them during their reign.

In the New Testament period, every Spirit baptised child of God is a king. Through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, God has made us kings and priests (Revelation 1:6) and such peoples hearts are in the hands of the Lord - to teach and lead them in the way they ought to go!

Even in the world, people in high positions, whichever protocol they may hold, have all been appointed by God in their respective places. See what St.Paul says - Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God [granted by His permission and sanction], and those which exist have been put in place by God. Romans 13:1

Nevertheless, dear anointed child of God, know that you were in the mind of God before the foundations of the world; even before being formed in your mother’s womb. You are precious! You need to preserve your life from the filthiness of this world. God desires you to be like king David who was a man according to God’s own heart.

You didn’t choose God; He chose you out of this world. Why? So that you could always be a king. A king will not be a slave to anything — to sin/world/self/flesh. He chose you to rule over these and for this. He holds you in His compassionate, loving hands. Let your heart be in God’s hands.

So, when does one become a king? When he/she becomes totally foolish for the things of the world. 1 Corinthians 1:27,28. Only then can that person become eligible to be a king. The wisdom of the world is foolishness before God. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:19‬

Preserve your calling and anointing and live a life acceptable and pleasing to Him. Keep trusting Him. He will help you. Amen!!

Be blessed 💕
