How To Live The Spiritual Life?

Spiritual mindedness isn’t a state of mind. It’s a state of being.

It’s not only theory, but practical.
Not just a feeling, but pure action.
It’s not only internal, it’s external too.
It’s not just surrender of spirit and soul, it’s body too.

We are in Christ wholeheartedly or we are not in Him at all.

Living the spiritual life

Every Spirit baptised believer, is called, to leave all. So many have misunderstood the calling of God upon their lives as believers. Living a life in separation and consecration isn’t only for ministers of God, but for all those who seek Him.

A believer is not “everyone”. He walks with God daily. She is aware of the spiritual battle he needs to stand against everyday. He invests his time in prayer, bible meditation everyday. Along with fellowship whenever available.

What about earning an income? We are in the world. Not outside. So, we earn to live, do not live to earn. We live for Christ. Be content with food and clothing as NT believers. Pursuing anything more will lead to hurtful lusts without Holy Spirit leading.

And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1 timothy 6:8-10

We can either pursue God or money. If you pursue money, God will not be added. Pursue God, all needs will be added. A little time on earth and we’ll be gone.

"The American Dream" campaign destroyed original America. As a child I was astounded by the generosity and kindness most American's used to have. Older Americans who have turned to the word of God today are discovering this truth.

Spending more time with Jesus today will lead us into an eternity with Him, help us live the spiritual life. Maranatha, praise God and amen!
