What does it mean to believe with all your heart?

Is all your heart for God, or only a part of it? Do you believe with all your heart?

And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (Acts 8:37)

Not everyone who says he is a Christian, is one. You have to believe with all your heart. Yes, whole-hearted belief is a necessity.

A doubtful man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8). No one who is saved, will say, “I’m not so sure, but I think I believe in Jesus.” You do, or you don’t.

If you believe, your belief will manifest in some form. Many say they believe but they do not produce good fruit for the glory of God.

I’ll share three effects of believing with all our heart;

Believing with all your heart brings a radical transformation

Anyone who is born again will turn away from former belief or religious systems to Christ alone. Paul the apostle was a Jew, and a murderer of Christ believers; he left all to follow Christ. (Acts 9:1-21)

Believing produces worship

A man born blind from birth was healed by Jesus. Jesus revealed Himself to him; and he believed. What was the result of his believing? He worshipped Jesus. (Acts 9:38)

Believing results in great joy

When we look at the context of the key verse, a eunuch believed the word of God that was preached to him. Soon as he was convicted, he was ready to be baptised and live this new life in Christ. The eunuch left rejoicing (Acts 8:39)

When Christ reveals Himself, you cannot deny Him. You will believe without a doubt. Your belief will be an example to those who observe your lifestyle.

Believe and you will see the glory of God. Jesus is the only person in history who died on the cross and rose again from the dead the third day. Every other religious leader is dead. Jesus is alive. Worship the living God; Jesus is alive, and alone worthy to help us enter heaven.

Dear reader, come to Jesus.
