3 Essentials For All Believers

What are some basic qualities that must be found in believers?

It does not matter who you are or what level you think you are, spiritually. Every believer needs to pray for these three qualities to be found in them. Daily!

DESIRE for HUMILITY and LOWLINESS OF HEART

Jesus' call in Matthew 11:28-30 is for all. He promises rest for those who are burdened - how? He will take away our burden and give us a fresh one. A lighter one that will not only make us stronger, but also be a blessing to others. It requires humility and lowliness of heart. It means I need to relinquish my abilities so God can lift all burdens henceforth.

BURDEN for lost SOULS

This burden is also a burden for souls. Jesus started His ministry with, "Repent, for the kingdom of God is near." Does your heart cry out like Jesus' did? When will such a cry spring forth? When we relinquish our abilities to force the gospel on others and give in to the move of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).

Be an EXAMPLE (DISCIPLE via testimonial lifestyle)

Paul instructs Timothy to study the doctrine and word zealously. So his life becomes a testimony or an example that helps disciple others. (1 Timothy 4:16).

We are called with a high, heavenly, holy calling. It's the greatest mercy of God upon us called for Zion and the New Jerusalem.

Seek His will, dear brothers and sisters.
