A Believer Will Never Deny God
How often have we boldly claimed something and found ourselves unable to perform it? Peter boldly declared that he would never deny Jesus. But he repented and eventually died for Jesus.
(Matthew 10:33) God will deny all who deny Him.
God has given us the grace to endure and overcome. All who (2 Timothy 2:12) endure, become co-heirs with Jesus.
WHO DENIES GOD?
Liars (1 John 2:22,23). The devil is a liar.
Ungodly and rebellious men (Jude 4). Never rebel against God’s word.
Those who prefer the company of murderers and thieves (Luke 23:18)(John 8:44). Satan is the murderer.
False teachers, prophets (2 Peter 2:1-3).
Tasted God and backslidden (Hebrews 6:4-6). Still unrepentant.
Spiritual pride makes us vulnerable to various sins. Godly humility keeps us protected and pure before God.
The Philadelphia church had little strength, but they kept the word and did not deny Jesus. (Revelation 3:7,8)
We have no strength or power without Jesus standing beside us. Jesus is our humility and strength.
Dear believer, we can do nothing without Jesus, the grace of God. His grace is sufficient. The time is short.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
