Be United In Your Inner Man To Remain Strong
Are you united inside or divided? If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand (Mark 3:25).
When Jesus cast out an evil spirit from a man, His haters called Him the devil. Jesus said that the devil will not throw out another devil. Only God delivers people from evil spirits.
Many saints have evil natures deeply rooted in them. Often unseen under normal circumstances, but when triggered, it bursts out.
Anger bursts out because of deep bitterness or hatred;
Lying or a deceived thinking from deep fear or hidden trauma; and the like.
The person is bound in their heart and unable to grow spiritually. They are divided inside.
Who divides people into a state of unrest? The devil.
Satan divided man from God in Eden. He continues to divide people from each other and God even today.
Division weakens us internally. In this fleshly body and with limited understanding, we cannot stand against the lies of the devil. We need strength.
HOW TO BE STRONG?
Jesus said in Mark 3:27 that no man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
The strong man is the Holy Spirit.
BE SPIRIT-FILLED
We have no spiritual strength of our own. As saints, our strength comes from the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the most powerful Spirit that can overcome every other spirit dividing us from walking in godly character. (Romans 8:11)
When we give room for the Holy Spirit in our hearts, we get sanctified and strengthened to love, forgive and care for others - bear the fruit of the Spirit. (Romans 5:5) (Galatians 5:22,23)
In times of confusion or emotional pressures, pray in tongues, setting your mind on God's word with earnest expectation. The Spirit prays for us when we do not know what to pray. (Romans 8:26)
There is much more to learn about the Holy Spirit's work in us. These are three to begin with.
You are alone. But with the Spirit of God in you, you remain in God's presence refreshed, renewed and refined till His coming.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
