Facing Spiritual Bullying
A frustrated preacher can have a horrible impact on believers. His message can bind the hearer into walking according to the law. Pentecostal churches have this in common, where the preacher pushes a narrative that is works-based. Mixed with some good lines for appeasement. Some are so frustrated in ministry that it pours out in their sermons and meetings they conduct.
It's a shame and a sham. Children get confused and fearful, youth get bitter, and elders silently fade.
Spiritual bullying is a dangerous reality that enters weak hearts, overpowers, and controls them.
What is necessary in these last days?
Give room for the Holy Spirit to overcome confusion, and bitterness to receive spiritual strength. We need a daily renewal.
After we are born-again and accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, He sends His Holy Spirit to dwell in us (Born of Spirit). The Holy Spirit, the Almighty God, dwells in us. Can anyone overcome the Spirit of God in us? Never.
THE PEACE OF GOD IS THE MOST POWERFUL
When we renew ourselves, the Spirit of God keeps us in His peace (Luke 11:21). No mental or emotional enemies can overpower the peace we receive from God. God's peace keeps us holy too (Hebrews 12:14).
WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE OF GOD is our strength
Our earthly skills and talents are of no use in the godly kingdom. Seeking the wisdom (James 3:17,18) and knowledge (Proverbs 1:7) of God in prayer and Bible meditation alone will prepare us to be fruitful for God.
Dear believer, is your heart overwhelmed with the cares and worries of this world? The only overcoming power is the Holy Spirit who can free you from its bindings.
You are already blessed with every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:7). Don't let any preacher emotionally manipulate you into believing otherwise.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
