Why Should A Believer Keep The Faith?

Physical death is the end of life on earth, but it is also the eagerly awaited beginning of life with God for eternity. However, wherever, or whenever we die, we must die in the faith.

FAITH IN GOD KEEPS US TILL THE END

(Genesis 25:7,8) Abraham walked by faith. (Genesis 24:1) Abraham was blessed in all things as he lived by faith. Faith in God keeps us faithful till the end. (Job 14:5) God has determined everything, and man's days are numbered. (Acts 14:27) God opened the door of faith so that all may enter eternity through Jesus.

THE FUTILITY OF HUMAN LIFE

- (Psalm 39:5) You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.

- (Job 14:5) You have decided the length of our lives. You know how many months we will live, and we are not given a minute longer.

- (Psalm 89:47) Human life is empty and futile.

- (Psalm 90:10) Even the best years are filled with pain and trouble.

BLESSEDNESS OF THE RIGHTEOUS

- (Proverbs 10:24) The desire of the righteous will be fulfilled. Their desire is to spend eternity with God.

- (Job 9:12) When God takes, who can question Him? (Song of Solomon 4:12) The righteous are His private garden.

- (Revelation 20:15) The names of the righteous are recorded in the Book of Life. (Matthew 1) Ishmael's and Esau's names are not written.

- (Isaiah 57:1,2) The righteous are taken away before the dreadful times ahead.

- The righteous do not weep, because they know where they are going and are full of hope (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

WE TAKE NOTHING WITH US

(Ecclesiastes 5:15) We can't take anything with us to the next life (Psalm 49:17).

DEATH IS GAIN

To live is Christ, and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21). Precious is the death of the saints (Psalm 116:15). (Psalm 47:4) God has kept a place for His children.

WHAT IS THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE RIGHTEOUS PERSON'S LIFE?

1. To be perfected in love (Matthew 5:48)

2. To be perfect in faith (James 2:22)

3. To be perfected in the will of God (Colossians 4:12)

4. To be perfected in hope (Hebrews 7:19)

Life or death, we have a blessed life in Christ. Hold on, dear saint. Christ is coming to take His bride.

Maranatha, praise God, and amen.
