God Isn’t Partial To Ministers
What happens when ministers fail? You know those leaders who drive fear into the hearts of believers? God won't spare them. He will raise a righteous people for Himself.
This is what the Lord tells Jeremiah 23:1-4.
“What sorrow awaits the leaders of my people—the shepherds of my sheep—for they have destroyed and scattered the very ones they were expected to care for,” says the LORD. Therefore, the LORD, the God of Israel, says to these shepherds: “Instead of caring for my flock and leading them to safety, you have deserted them and driven them to destruction. Now I will pour out judgment on you for the evil you have done to them. But I will gather together the remnant of my flock from the countries where I have driven them. I will bring them back to their sheepfold, and they will be fruitful and increase in number. Then I will appoint responsible shepherds who will care for them, and they will never be afraid again. Not a single one will be lost or missing. I, the LORD, have spoken!
God gave us shepherds to care for us by giving us the pure word of God.
In the last days, many ministers will resort to churchism.
A trend where they seem to be doing a lot for the church, but only cosmetically, and not spiritually. Their preachings will be fuelled by traditions and rituals that do not conform to God's word. They love outward expressions of devotion without caring for true inward change.
Dear believer, the Lord calls you to unite with Him and desire His heart.
Five actions the church needs to be intentionally involved in;
Visit sick homes, to pray
Visit those living alone, to pray
Visit believers with financial, and material burdens to guide or help with resources
Visit new believers' homes
Visit potential believers' homes
The biblical church did all of the above. False ministers never encourage them nor do they.
Be aware and beware. We are in the last days. Wake up and learn to walk in the Spirit's leading.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
