God Multiplies What You Offer For The Glory Of God
Give what you have to God. What then does God do?
God Multiplies What You Offer
I’d love a fish fry filled with cheese and assorted vegetables—multiplied! Which fish lover wouldn’t?
Jesus had compassion on the multitude and multiplied five loaves and two fishes so that all could eat. We know that story well — but its lesson applies far beyond food.
The biggest mistake most believers make is not bringing to God what they have. We hide it or make excuses.
Whatever we give to God, He will multiply for His glory.
EXAMPLES OF FAITH MULTIPLIED
Rebekah’s Willing Service Rebekah cheerfully offered a drink of water to Eleazar (Genesis 24:46). She also drew water for his camels — a lot of water for one woman to pour! Because she served willingly, her family was blessed with Abraham’s gifts and her betrothal to Isaac, the promised son.
The Widow’s Two Mites A poor widow cast two mites into the treasury (Luke 21:1–4). It was far less than what others gave. Yet in God’s sight, her offering was greater than anyone else’s gift of abundance.
Moses’ Reluctant Surrender At eighty years old, Moses felt he was of no use to God. He was reluctant to offer himself for what God had planned (Exodus 4:1, 10). Yet God used him mightily.
Gideon’s Weakness Made Strong Gideon considered himself too weak to do anything for God (Judges 6:15). But God used him to overcome his enemies.
David’s Single Stone One stone was enough to bring down a giant like Goliath. You may not have much to offer, but bring what you have by faith. Faith pleases God and produces great victories.
YOUR CALLING
Dear child, you are chosen by God. He selected you and knows exactly how to use you for His glory. Our thoughts are not His thoughts. When we surrender to Him, His thoughts become a reality we never imagined.
In Prayer:
Come as you are
Go with what you have
Bring yourself, even if you have nothing
Let God do what He knows best with your life.
Maranatha. Praise God. Amen.
