How To Have Beautiful Feet?
How beautiful are thy FEET WITH SHOES, O prince's daughter! The joints of thy thighs are like jewels, The work of the hands of a cunning workman. (SOS 7:1)
Jesus describes the bride (church) in SoS 7:1 saying How beautiful are thy feet with shoes. In Isaiah 52:7, the bride speaks about Jesus.
WHAT DO FEET REPRESENT?
Feet represent walking. (Ephesians 6:15) Shoes of the gospel of peace. Shoes of preparation. Shoes of peace.
We need to be at peace with God
Peace with all saints
Peace with all men
(Isaiah 61:1) Anointed to preach the gospel of peace
Always wear the shoes of peace. Paul says he is a debtor in telling people the gospel (Romans 1:14,15). A believer's desire will always be to remain in the presence of God.
WHAT DO SHOES REPRESENT?
SHOES REPRESENT A HATRED FOR THE WORLD.
(Exodus 12:11) SHOES of peace = Holy Communion. (1 Corinthians 5:7) Christ is our PASSOVER. The PASSOVER was held in preparation to leave Egypt.
We must walk out of this world. (Jeremiah 13:27) Come out of yourselves.
SHOES OF FAITH
(Acts 12:7,8) Angel rescues Peter. Asks him to put on his shoes. Peter's putting off his shoes represents a lack of faith. Putting on the shoes, he walked out free.
SHOES OF FIRST LOVE
(Luke 15:22) Father tells servants to put the shoes on for his second child. (Psalms 51:4) Against you only have I sinned. The prodigal son returned and confessed to the father. RETURN to your first love, Jesus.
SHOES TO BE THE BRIDE OF CHRIST
(Ruth 4:7) The Israelites give their shoes to others to confirm a transaction. Boaz received shoes after he bought all the land of Naomi, and married Ruth. Jesus purchased us with His blood and made us His own.
We are anointed to preach the gospel, dear saints. Walk in peace and holiness. Christ is coming soon.
