How To Increase Your Faith?
Ask.
(Luke 17:5) "Increase our faith," said the disciples to Jesus. When you need faith, look to Jesus.
(Mark 6:5–6) Only a few were healed because of unbelief. God desires to heal all. But many do not receive healing because of their unbelief.
(James 1:6) Doubters are like the waves of the sea, tossed about by the wind. People of weak faith are easily shaken by the winds of life.
At 100 years old, Abraham's body was weak — but not his faith (Romans 4:19). In these last days, we need to pray that our faith does not weaken.
Our faith must keep growing.
Reasons Why Faith Weakens
Lack of a Clear Conscience
(1 Timothy 1:19) To keep the faith, maintain a clear conscience. Guard and preserve it.
Heeding Seducing Spirits
(1 Timothy 4:1) Guard yourself against seducing spirits.
Love of Money
(1 Timothy 6:10) The love of money causes us to stray from the faith.
A servant of God began his ministry in faith. A few years later, he ran out of money. God asked him whether he had funds to continue serving. He said no. God then reminded him of the deposits held in his children's names. He withdrew them and invested everything into the ministry. That ministry has now crossed 100 years.
Vain Talk
(1 Timothy 6:20–21) We must not speak uselessly or unnecessarily.
What does Jesus desire to see in us when He comes? Faith (Luke 18:8).
Dear saint, hold onto your faith. Jesus is coming soon.
Maranatha. Praise God. Amen.
