How To Cross Jordan In Life?
God promised Canaan to Israel. But to reach Canaan, one must first cross the Jordan River.
Holding Onto Promises
(Genesis 32:10) Jacob crossed the Jordan with only a staff. What does the staff represent? The promises of God. Hold firmly onto every promise He has given you.
Keeping the Word
(Joshua 3:17) The Israelites crossed the Jordan led by the priests, who carried the Ark of the Covenant before them. Keep the Word of God as taught to you by His anointed servants.
Walking by Faith
(2 Samuel 19:18) The king’s household crossed the Jordan by boat. The boat represents faith. Walk by faith, not by sight.
Through the Anointing
(2 Kings 2:13–14) Elisha took Elijah’s mantle and divided the waters of the Jordan. Before crossing, Elisha had received a double portion of anointing. We, too, need the anointing of God to cross our Jordan.
Following Jesus
(1 Chronicles 12:15) David’s mighty warriors crossed the river. (2 Timothy 2:3) Like spiritual soldiers, we are called to endure. David represents Jesus; his warriors represent all the saints.
God is with us and will see us through, dear saint. Let us do our part by wholeheartedly loving Him.
Maranatha. Praise God. Amen.
