How To Pray Humbly?

Humility is the doorway to spiritual overflow. Jesus humbled Himself more than we can imagine. His humility is unachievable, but learnable (Matthew 11:29).

A praying person is humble. They acknowledge their need for God.

3 ASPECTS TO A HUMBLE PRAYER are,

  1. Admitting your true state of helplessness and hopelessness without God

  2. Acknowledging God's goodness

  3. Glorifying God because He deserves all the glory

Who can admit their true state? Who will? Only those who have experienced the mercy and power of God. Do you understand that you were rescued from hell? You were unworthy and disgusting before God. But He saved you from the impossible.

Who can or will acknowledge God's goodness? Only those who taste Him daily. God's word is spiritual food for the soul. When we sow His seed in our hearts and receive His nourishment, we cannot but thank Him all the time.

Who can or will glorify God always? Only those who have seen the glory of God. True believers have seen the glory of God. They glorify Him because of who He is. Most, praise God only for what God has done for them.

Dear child of God, humility opens up the door to God's treasures. Jesus is our treasure. When we humble ourselves before God, He will make us sit in heavenly places where Christ is seated.

What a joy it will be when we meet Him in the air. Prepare yourself, the time has come.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen
