Jesus Is Our Greatest Blessing
Spiritual blessings come from the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:3,7). 1st blessing: Acts 3:26 Turning away from iniquities through Jesus Christ. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father (James 1:17). The gifts of God are free.
All gifts from heaven are right, in the will of God (Galatians 3:13,14). Jesus took all our curses and sicknesses.
Abraham obeyed God (Genesis 12:1-3). He was blessed.
WHO IS BLESSED?
Forsake idolatry, house and kindred.
Obey God in all things (2 Corinthians 2:9)
Love God wholly. Be willing to suffer (Hebrews 5:8). It pleased God to bruise Jesus (Isaiah 53:10). Jesus gave his back to smitten (Isaiah 52:6). Cheeks to slap and pull beard, and let them spit.
WHAT DOES THE BLOOD OF JESUS DO?
Cleanse us from all sins (1 John 1:7). He desires us to be holy.
Conscience is purified (Hebrews 9:14). God desires worship, in spirit and truth.
We are justified (Romans 5:9). We can stand before God now. Water Baptism makes us righteous.
Peace with God (Colossians 1:20). Forgive all. Esau was revengeful (Genesis 27:41). Revengeful natures reveal old leprosy (Leviticus 13:11). Perpetual hatred (Ezekiel 35:5). Put off the old leaven (1 Corinthians 5:7).
Eternal redemption (Hebrews 9:12). His blood forever preserves us.
WHY IS THE BODY BROKEN (HOLY COMMUNION)?
For our Healing (1 Peter 2:24)
Become like bread in the hand of Jesus to be broken (1 Corinthians 11:23,24). When broken, we can be a blessing to others.
What do you desire, believer? Ask. Jesus has already won all our battles. He will always do the best for us.
Prepare yourself to meet God.
