Jesus Will Take All Who Are Waiting In Him
Where corpses are, vultures gather (Matthew 24:28). An apt analogy about Jesus' coming. When Jesus comes, His flock will be gathered together. God's flock will be ready.
HOW WILL THE FLOCK BE READY?
The flock are those made ready by Jesus. All who deny self, take up the cross and follow Jesus, like sheep follow their Shepherd, will come together.
WHERE WILL THEY COME TOGETHER FROM?
From across the world. The body of Christ of true believers worshipping in spirit and truth, united by their love for Jesus will find themselves gathered together in the clouds (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17). When the Shepherd calls, His sheep will gather.
THE LAST DAYS
The context around the verses helps us understand that Jesus is talking about the last days. The last days will be like the days of Noah, and Lot where people will be lost in the pride of life, lust and pleasures of this world. (Luke 17:20-37)
But God's people though scattered physically (largely), will be brought together by the Holy Spirit.
Dear believer, God has separated a group of people for Himself (Romans 11:17-21). You are chosen for His coming. He desires you to be ready when He appears in glory.
It is urgent, time is running late (Romans 13:11-14). Prepare yourself to meet God.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
