Let Your Fruit Ripen

When does one eat fruit? When it is ripe.

Is your fruit ripe?

We are familiar with the fruit of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22,23. Having the fruit isn't enough, it must become ripe to be ready for Jesus to pluck it (rapture).

What is necessary for the fruit to be ripe? The Sun (Deuteronomy 33:14). A man of God compares God to the Sun (Psalms 84:11). Jesus is the Sun (Malachi 4:2).

Every character in us takes time to develop. Joseph was an interpreter of dreams and he was proud of it. When the butler and baker had dreams, he proactively asked them to tell him what it was so he could interpret it for them (Genesis 40:8). Two years later, when Pharaoh had a dream and asked Joseph to interpret, he said he did not know, only God knew (Genesis 41:18).

In two years, we see a drastic change in Joseph's approach. He revealed a humility unlike earlier. Daniel humbled himself as well (Daniel 2:28).

Jesus was most humble (John 14:10). He said and did nothing apart from what God wanted Him to say or do.

Paul humbled himself after his encounter with Jesus (Galatians 2:20). Nineveh humbled itself after hearing Jonah's preaching. God changed His mind and refrained from destroying Nineveh.

God exalts the humble. Learn humility from Jesus. Let Him prepare you for the rapture. Remain in Christ.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
