Is Your Hope Alive?
Is your hope real or fake? Scripture encourages us to tell others about our hope (1 Peter 3:15). But how can you tell others about your hope if you don't know what you have?
What does it mean to have hope?
Hope for what? The rapture! To meet Jesus in the air.
Here are five signs to examine, if hope is active or alive.
Love His appearing (2 Timothy 4:8). All who have hope, walk in love. They love God and walk righteously.
Comforts others (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). An active hope will make you a comforter.
Renewed vision (Ephesians 1:18). You will renew your vision before you start your day.
Living in godly pleasure (Matthew 24:42-51). You will find yourself doing the will of God. Not in the pleasures of this life.
Believes in the power of resurrection (1 Peter 1:3-5). You believe in the power of God who raised Jesus from the dead. You walk in power - not just in words.
Dear child of God, our hope is lively. Do you feel alive? Let Christ shine brighter. Do you feel dead? Renew your vision.
The time is short. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
