Living by Faith: Standing on the Promises of God

You are living the Christian life when you live by faith. Faith is central to our daily lifestyle. Abraham remembered the holy promises of God, and those promises kept him blessed (Psalm 105:42).

We need to place our faith on the promises of God, which establish us (Romans 15:8).

Who Receives the Promises of God?

Those who are:

• Called by God (Acts 2:39)

• Believe in Him (Galatians 3:22)

• Love Him (James 1:12)

What Is God's Promise for You, for This Time?

"I have engraved you on the palms of my hands." — Isaiah 49:16

We are always on His mind. And these are the promises His hands hold for you:

• Hands that deliver — (Isaiah 59:1)

• Nail-scarred hands that heal — (Isaiah 53:5)

• Hands that hold us in times of trouble — (Matthew 14:30–31)

• Hands no one can snatch you from — (John 10:28–29)

• Hands where His children remain — (Jeremiah 18:6)

• Hands that hold the keys to life and death — (Revelation 1:17–18)

Dear saint, without faith it is impossible to please God. We are blessed because we get to place our faith in a God who does not lie. What He has promised, He will fulfill.
