Prayer Is Powerful
Prayer is not something we do. It isn't an activity we check off our daily to-do list. When we don't pray willingly, we turn prayer into a ritual.
THE HUMBLE, PRAY
We pray because we need God. God doesn't need us. The proud don't pray because they are full of themselves. The humble are fully aware of their need for God and pray to be filled with God's fullness.
PRAYER OVERCOMES LONELINESS
Living alone in a strange land helps us recognise the challenge of loneliness. Prayer draws us closer to God helping us enjoy His presence. The time we have alone becomes a time to invest and grow spiritually. We learn to experience His presence, and we partner with Jesus every time we step out.
PRAYER IS A PLACE OF REST
Nothing relaxes us better than the presence of God. We receive mental clarity, joy, and spiritual satisfaction (Psalms 16:11).
Focused prayer has its benefits. But an unceasing prayer life depends on God. It is powered by the Holy Spirit through an intimate walk.
Changing our approach to prayer will change our walk with God. Give Him the glory He deserves.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
