To Shine Or Not To Shine
Is your light shining? You are the light of the world. (Luke 11:33) The light is for shining.
What are the REASONS WE FAIL TO SHINE?
(Psalms 19:12) Hidden sins in us- we don't know all. Ask the Lord to reveal your state so you can confess it and live by faith.
(2 Corinthians 10:12) We compare ourselves with others. Seek self-praise. (Romans 2:29) The circumcised in heart receive their honour from God.
(Luke 8:16) We keep the light under the bed. Bed = Lazy person (Proverbs 19:14). Love makes waking up worth it - we live intentionally for God daily.
(Romans 12:11) Lack of zeal for the things of God.
God has set His children to shine for His glory. Watch out for these hindrances in your life that keep you from shining for God.
Prepare to meet Jesus.
