God Remembers Man
God is mindful of us (Psalms 115:12). Is a sinful man worth being mindful of? (Psalms 8:4). No, but God thinks of us. King David acknowledges God as his help and deliverer because he is poor and needy (Psalms 40:17).
When does God remember man?
God remembered Noah because he remained upright (Genesis 8:1). Though people mocked Noah, he continued doing God's will.
God remembered Abraham because he had made a covenant (Genesis 19:29). Lot was rescued even though Sodom and Gomorrah had to be destroyed.
God remembered King David because he humbled himself (Psalms 40:17). He was a king who had it all, power and wealth, and was adored by the flock.
God remembered Israel when they called out to him during bondage (Jeremiah 2:2). Israel made a covenant with God when they were old enough to decide to follow Him (Ezekiel 16:8). Join God in a perfect covenant (Jeremiah 50:5).
God remembered Cornelius' prayers and alms (Acts 10:4). God never forgets our labour of love (Hebrews 6:10).
Even though we often forget God multiple times during the day - he never forgets us for a single moment. What an awesome Father, friend and guide! Hold on dear child of God, the time is short.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
