What Are Heavenly Treasures?
A Christian is blessed with untold heavenly treasure.
Where Is Your Treasure?
Where your treasure is, there your heart is also (Matthew 6:21). We came with nothing; we take nothing (Ecclesiastes 5:13-15). Sin goes with those who love riches (2 Timothy 4:14). Works follow all who die (Revelation 14:13). We carry nothing (Psalm 49:16-17).
There is much treasure in the house of the righteous (Proverbs 15:6). The righteous live by faith (Romans 10:12). The righteous enter into peace and rest. They walk uprightly. The righteous are taken away from the evil to come (Isaiah 57:1-2).
What Are Heavenly Riches?
Riches of His Glory (Ephesians 1:18)
Rich mercies (Ephesians 2:4-6; Psalm 18:6)
Riches of His Grace (Ephesians 1:7)
Faith (James 2:5; Acts 14:7; John 20:19)
What are you heaping up — riches that fade, or eternal heavenly riches?
You are God’s treasure (Psalm 135:4), dear child of God. You are God’s peculiar treasure above all (Exodus 19:5). Prepare to meet Jesus.
