What Is Childlessness?
Jehoiachin had children, but God was writing him off as childless (Jeremiah 22:30). Why? Jehoiachin did evil in God's sight. He disobeyed God and eventually got overcome by King Nebuchadnezzar (flesh, world or Satan).
Having a child is a great joy for parents. But many believers forget why God gives them children.
Who are the childless?
Those who go against the light are childless (Job 24:16,30).
Ephraim disobeyed God and his children were cast away by God (Hosea 9:13-17).
Michal remained childless because she hated David (2 Samuel 6:16,23).
Cursed are those shepherds who scatter the children of God (flock) (Jeremiah 23:1)
God always desired His children to love all like He does. That's why a barren (godly) wife will have more spiritual children than a married (carnally minded) wife with children (Isaiah 54:1).
How should the New Testament (spiritual man) church approach their calling in the last days?
There is no marriage in heaven (Luke 20:27-36). Marriage was always about walking together in the unity of God's word. His love will help us love all children whether we have one of our own or not.
Weep for your children; a day will come when people will say blessed are the barren wombs (Luke 23:28). We know today why we need to weep for children when we look at the atrocities done to them via crimes and online media.
Live as if you are unmarried because the time is short (1 Corinthians 7:27). Nothing is more important than living for Jesus. But most believers are too busy trying to build a life on earth.
Disobedience to God's word is a great price we pay that affects generations.
The Word of God is most important for believers. Our entire life depends on God's word. Our thoughts, words and actions need to be cultivated by the Word and the Holy Spirit.
Prepare yourself, dear child of God. Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
