Who Are Considered Foolish?

Be disciplined in prayer and sobriety (1 Peter 4:7). All creation is waiting in hope of His coming (Romans 8:19, 22).

Chaos is spreading everywhere in the world. Desire to grow in Christ as children of God. Be wise, not foolish.

Who are the foolish?

Store Things for This Life

Live wisely in the last days — desire the salvation of souls (Ephesians 5:15–16). A rich relationship with God is eternal; everything else will end with this earth (Luke 12:16–21). Whatever we heap up for the future is pointless if we die tonight. Be filled with the love of God.

Disobedient

The disobedient are foolish and wicked (Matthew 7:26). Pay attention to God's word (Proverbs 1:24). King Solomon and King Saul disobeyed God; God removed Saul from his kingship (1 Kings). Jonah cried out from the belly of hell (Jonah 2:4).

If one rejects Him, God will raise up many others. God has opened the door of faith to the Gentiles (Acts 14:27).

Refuse to Work

Remain in the good works that come from God (1 Thessalonians 5:15).

Walk in Ignorance

Be diligent in faith, and grow in knowledge (2 Peter 1:5). Suffer in faith; don't turn to evil (Job 36:21).

The wisdom of God never fails. He keeps us from evil and prepares us for the end. However the end comes, be prepared to die in the faith.
