How Eagerly Do You Pursue Christ?

Is your belief grounded?

• The eunuch was hungry to understand what the Scripture said, until God fed him and saved his soul (Acts 8:26–40). How hungry are you to be rooted in Christ?

• The Samaritans believed when the woman testified about Jesus. But after they heard Jesus Himself, they became fully confident in who Jesus really is (John 4:39–42). How desirous are you to know Jesus?

• The Bereans searched the Scriptures to ensure Paul was accurate in his preaching (Acts 17:11). How committed are you to growing in faith?

God desires that we become rooted and grounded in love by faith in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 3:17). Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

When we read the Bible and pray, we are in conversation with God — we hear His word. When we fellowship, we learn from one another as the Spirit leads us.

Dear child of God, we are surrounded by lies and delusion that are corrupting the world. God's Word alone can root us and help us bear fruit for His kingdom.
