Your Heart Is The Problem
God checks the hearts. Man checks outward appearances (1 Samuel 16:7).
What does scripture say about the human heart?
Here are 3 types of hearts scripture mentions.
The heart is deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9).
Guard your heart diligently. Issues of life flow from it (Proverbs 4:23)
The heart is defiling man's life (Mark 7:20,21)
We are busy with many things but not concerned about our heart.
4 WAYS GOD RELATES WITH OUR HEART
God looks into our heart (1 Samuel 16:7)
God searches our hearts (1 Chronicles 28:9)
God knows our heart (Deuteronomy 8:2). Psalms 44:21)
God tries out the heart (1 Chronicles 29:17). Example; Abraham
One important state our hearts need to be in is, holy. King David prays, (Psalms 51:7) Create a clean heart.
A CLEAN HEART RECEIVES FIVE BLESSINGS
See God (Matthew 5:8). Clean heart = Holiness (Hebrews 12:14).
God is good to Israel (Psalms 73:1), a people with clean hearts. 10 children died in one day for Job. He never complained.
God is a friend of those who love clean lips (Proverbs 22:11). King = Jesus. Abraham was called a friend of God (James 2:23).
God draws nearer to those, whose hands and hearts are clean and pure (James 4:8).
Appear before God in Zion and New Jerusalem (Psalms 24:3,4).
Dear child of God, receive the heart God wants to give you for His glory. Seek a clean heart. Prepare to meet God.
