Are You Vessel Of Honour Or Dishonour?

Are you a vessel unto honour or dishonour?

There are different vessels in the kingdom of God (2 Timothy 2:20) - Gold, silver, iron, wood, earthen, etc., honourable and dishonourable vessels.

THREE DISHONOURABLE VESSELS

  • Sin rendered King David dead, spiritually. He felt dead out of His mind, like a broken vessel (Psalms 31:12). Sin's effect on a believer is terrifying. The spirit becomes dead to God, separated from His presence. The spiritual man is starved of heavenly food. The mind stops functioning as a sound mind in Christ. Repentance renews our walk in Him.

  • God had no pleasure in Moab (Jeremiah 48:38). Moab was a vessel despised. Moab was a people who were a product of Lot's disobedience. God never despises those who love Him and keep His word.

  • Jehoachin was like a broken jar, (Jeremiah 22:28) a discarded vessel. He did evil in God's sight (2 Kings 24:9). Seek to do good, not evil. God is good.

As we get closer to the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; let our lives shine with the riches of His grace.

Walk humbly, do justly and love mercy.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen
