3 Focus Areas For Every Believer In Christ Jesus

"I Believe in Jesus" — So What?

If there is one question every believer must ask, it is this: Am I living my own life, or am I living the life I have been set apart for?

Believing in Jesus must mean something. It must look radically different from the life everyone else is living. After all, Jesus saved us from hell — that has to count for something.

Three major areas every believer needs to focus on:

1. Personal Meditation

A personal prayer life and Bible study is the foundation of our new life in Christ. We talk to God and hear from Him. We allow God to shape our thinking and our feelings. We discipline our habits around His daily direction and provision.

2. Fellowship with Saints

The spiritual blessings we receive from God during our personal time with Him are put into action as members of the body of Christ. We give cheerfully, love intentionally, and walk hopefully alongside all the saints.

3. Witness to the World

As we grow together in the family of God, we bear fruit to the world around us. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, we witness Jesus to the world — and we remain willing to die for Him.

Dear child of God, much is expected of us because much has been given. God is faithful to fulfil His promises. Seek His face daily, and be anchored by His Word.

Maranatha — Praise God, and Amen.
