Desire To Be Spiritually Rich
Jesus came to serve, not to be served (Matthew 20:28). He made Himself of no reputation (Philippians 2:6,7). Is He your example?
Jesus became poor so we become rich in Him (2 Corinthians 8:9). Not earthly rich, but spiritually rich.
WHAT ARE THESE SPIRITUAL RICHES?
Fear of God (Isaiah 33:6). Knowing God's love and power helps us to grow in the fear of God.
Grace of God (Ephesians 1:7). Praise draws abundant grace.
Mercy (Ephesians 2:4). Show mercy to others like Jesus.
Glory (Colossians 1:27). God is rich in glory. Jesus became rich in glory overcoming death. Be willing to suffer for the work of God (Ezekiel 44:14).
Faith (James 2:5). Trust God for all things. Live seeking the kingdom of God for all other things to be added in life. Pray in the most Holy faith (Jude 20)
Stop craving for earthly riches. How then are you different from others? Desire God's riches, and you won't lack anything on earth. Many are forsaking the way of Christ for a better life on earth. The love of money drives their decisions rather than the love of God.
Your time belongs to God. Give your youth to Him.
