What Is Real Beauty?
What is not planted by God, will be rooted up (Matthew 15:13).
Why did Jesus say it? The Pharisees and religious leaders were offended by Jesus' words. He asked His disciples to ignore them - they were religious and ran man-made traditions.
Plant = Saints. Spiritual man. Followers of Christ.
We stand because God planted us with His own hands.
Balaam (Numbers 24:6) saw Israel as a planted garden (PALM GROVES & CEDAR) by the riverside. 🌲 🌴 The New Testament church is purchased by the blood of Jesus. God desires to see us like big trees.
“I'm like the GREEN OLIVE TREE in the house of God" - (Psalms 52:8).
FIG tree (Luke 13:6,7). A fig tree was planted in the vineyard. Fig - church.
Trees of righteousness (Isaiah 61:3). That God may be glorified.
WHAT KIND OF BEAUTY DOES GOD DESIRE?
Holiness: (Psalms 96:9) Worship the lord in the beauty of holiness.
Consecration: (Psalms 45:9,10) Forget and move away from your people and family. Do not become culturally entangled.
All who are planted by God will be a sweet fragrance to the saved and unsaved (2 Corinthians 2:15). Jacob (Genesis 34:30) was made to stink because his children killed the people of Shechem.
HOW TO BE A SWEET FRAGRANCE?
Be a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God. Noah gave a (Genesis 8:20,21) pleasing sacrifice to God. Give to God the fruit of your lips - Praise.
Walk in the fear of God (Isaiah 11:3).
Let your life be a testimony (Job 16:19)
Dear saint, God has planted you. Remain in His presence to bear fruit and be a sweet fragrance to others.
