God Loves A Seeking Heart

A government official in a persecuted country had no peace in her heart. Her husband was a high official in the police department. One day she opened up about her lack of peace to her subordinate employee who she knew was a practising Christian. He told her to pray to Jesus.

She began secretly praying to Jesus. Every time she prayed to Jesus, she was filled with peace. She would go to her religious place of worship with her husband. The prophets there would tell her to avoid certain people. But they would tell her to meet the Christian. They would say he is an angel and worships the true God.

Slowly she gave up reading her religious books and praying her old prayers. Her husband began to notice the change in her. He took her to a place to brainwash her. He failed to get any information from her. Then he tried to take her on their pilgrimage. He kept falling sick and the plans had to be cancelled each time. She would pray to God seeking cancellation.

Today, she meets with her Christian employee regularly in her office. Prays together and learns strategies on how she can tell others about Jesus. She even prays with some of the other locals.

Jesus is ever-present to those who seek Him wholeheartedly.

Jeremiah 29:13 - If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
