Good Things Every Believer Possesses

If you don't know what you have is good, you can't be effective in life.

Children or youth are trained primarily for this reason. To help them identify what is good in them.

Some can sing, some write. Some can do hard physical labour, some have a knack for music, etc.

In sports, each one's skill is honed to perfection and then assigned a final position on the field.

In the world, it's always about whether you are good enough or not. Sadly, no one will ever be good enough on earth. People will always compare. You will be replaced.

But all who are in Christ Jesus will always be good enough because of Christ in him, the hope of glory.

Children and youth will still need to be trained. That's why Sunday School and Youth meetings exist.

For faith to be effective, we NEED TO KNOW the good we have in us through Christ Jesus. (Philemon 1:6)

Many claim to have faith but their faith is ineffective. Why? It's because they do not know the good (in them) that influences their faith to be effective.

What are the GOOD THINGS IN EVERY BORN-AGAIN Christian?

Consider these four good things in a believer's life.

SALVATION

The greatest joy is the knowledge of having been rescued from hell. This joy, a good thing, isn't temporary. It is eternal, pushing us forward to receive God's spiritual blessings towards spiritual maturity. Many other joys will try to quench this joy during our journey. Hold on.

WATER BAPTISM

Who takes Water Baptism? A believer who fully understands why they've decided to follow only Jesus. This decision sets the believer on the foundation of truth. This firm belief is a good thing, made stronger by a lifestyle of consistent prayer and Bible study.

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Spirit of God is given to be a witness - to be ready to die for Jesus. The Holy Spirit is a good thing. He prepares us for the coming of the Lord.

DOCTRINES

Why do we have so many denominations? It is the difference in doctrines. We grow in doctrine as we grow in love. Doctrines are a good thing - they set you up for a disciplined lifestyle that keeps your focus on Christ alone.

Dear child of God, the time is short. Jesus is coming soon.

Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
