Hold Onto The Narrow Way Of Life
When you forget what Jesus did on the cross, you will find yourself deep in sin and worldliness. You will find your world crumbling. There's no one to blame, but yourself. Why? Because when you knew God and still chose the world and fleshly will, you bring yourself to this position of unbelief and despair.
God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). But, you behave as if you did not receive anything. Then what did you believe?
God has already done what He had to. He offered Himself willingly. We need to accept what He has given. We need to put on what He has given by faith because He will fulfil His work in us.
We cannot live outside of God's word. To not live means we are spiritually dead. What are some signs that reveal we are dead spiritually?
Unbelief (Mark 16:14)
Doing your own will (Matthew 16:23)
Little faith (Matthew 6:30)
Anger that sins (Luke 9:55)
Money-minded (John 2:15)
Stop looking at God's word as things to do. Instead, look at God's word as a (mirror) reflection of your life. If you don't see Christ’s character in you, it is a sign that you require spiritual cleansing.
Without Jesus, we can do nothing. He washes us with the blood (reflect on the cross), Word (John 15:3/ Meditate), and the Holy Spirit (anointing).
Most youth don't surrender their lives. Instead, they try to fulfil the Word with their strength. Their mind isn't set on God. They want to master God's word without learning about His love.
The only path of least resistance is the narrow way in Christ Jesus. Stay on it. Don't switch. The time is near. Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
