How Must We Be Remembered By God?

God remembered Hannah (1 Samuel 1:19). God must remember us.

HOW MUST WE BE, TO BE REMEMBERED BY GOD?

Hannah = Church (Grace).

She desired to bear a child - had 6 children. We must DESIRE TO BEAR FRUIT FOR GOD (1 Samuel 1:19,20). God will bless all (Psalms 115:12). All who desire to do His will and bear fruit for God's glory will be remembered by God.

Jacob was remembered by God. Why? Jacob prevailed over God and man (Genesis 32:28). Prevail in prayer (God). Prevail in love and forgiveness (man). He WEPT AND PLEADED for a blessing (Hosea 12:2-6). God did not punish him for his deceit. He became Israel.

The tax collector humbled himself (Luke 18:13). He was justified before God - made righteous by God. Zacchaeus was made righteous because he longed to see Jesus and ACCEPTED HIM WITH GREAT JOY into his house (Luke 19:1-9). He was a notorious sinner in the eyes of the world, but God chose him. When does SALVATION enter a house? When we confess with our mouth and believe on the resurrection with all our heart (Romans 10:9,10).

Our sins separate us from God, and therefore we have no good thing (Jeremiah 5:25). Thank God for Jesus, our help comes from the Lord (Psalms 121:1,2).
