Jesus Came For Sinners
All kinds of people come to church.
All kinds came to Jesus.
The poor, the brokenhearted, the captives, and the blind. (Luke 4:18) The demon-possessed (Luke 4:33), the sick with diverse diseases (Luke 4:40).
God remains faithful and still transforms lives, heals, and delivers all who come sincerely to Him.
The presence of God is unbiased. He does what He promises. He listens to the call of the poor and needy. The troubled call out with a sincere heart and receive mercy. (Psalm 34:4-6)
The self-righteous get nothing from God. Jesus did not come for the righteous, but for sinners.
The world is entering the church and getting sanctified. We were in darkness, but now we are in the light. We grow brighter in His presence. Some take longer than others to understand how God works.
A true believer keeps looking at Jesus no matter how things may seem to unfold in church. What things? Misunderstandings, unbelief, fears, ego trips, etc.
We are in the last days. Even the unsaved are fully aware of the world spiralling out of control. The world needs believers who trust God — prayer warriors, truth tellers, compassionate and forgiving believers.
You are the light of the world, dear believer. Jesus in you is the reality. Let the light of Christ shine in and through you wherever you go. People are more receptive than before because grace abounds much more. Our time on earth is short. All God has promised is being fulfilled. Be thankful, joyful, and receive grace to remain faithful till Jesus appears.
Maranatha, Praise God, and Amen.
