The Presence Of God Is The Best Place On Earth

Everyone desires a better place at some point in their life. But what is a better place? Is it a destination?

Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you." Which means, this place isn't enough. Earth isn't our forever, better place. Earth is full of troubles (John 14:1-3). Troubles that bind us from living freely. Death and pain are all around us.

We have mental, emotional, and physical bindings. Fear, guilt, shame, etc. are lies of the devil we were bound in. False teachers, false apostles, and false prophets may attack you with their threats and desire to control.

We were broken from our original design, intended to live freely with God.

Jesus promised to come and take us to the better place. He brought us our freedom at the cross, rose again the third day, to power our journey to the better place.

Are you free, dear saint?

Freedom is the better place. The holy city, New Jerusalem, is a place of freedom (Revelation 21:1-8). No death, mourning, crying, or pain.

You are New Jerusalem, the city in which God dwells. A city founded on God's word and the power of the Holy Spirit.

As long as we are in this body and in the world, these evil natures will continue to attack. Live in the freedom you've received in Christ.

• In the Father's presence, there is fullness of joy. Glorify Him every way you can.

• Jesus is the truth that sets us free. Love the word of God.

• Where the Holy Spirit is, there is freedom.

When God dwells in us, we will no longer be enslaved by former natures. Our freedom in Christ will help us:

• Live for Jesus

• Worship God in spirit and truth

• Stand against the lies of the devil, the world, and the flesh

Prepare yourself to meet God. Former things are passed away. All things are made new.
