What Are You Complaining About?

As believers who worship the Creator of the universe, we must not complain. Did Jesus complain about anything? No.

People usually complain when they want a situation to change in their favour, to vent their emotions, or to seek support and validation.

Jesus never sought anything but God’s will.

David’s Example

1 Samuel 30

King David was on the verge of being stoned by his own army, despite having suffered the same misery as his fellow soldiers. David was greatly distressed. The mental and emotional pressure was more than he could bear. He turned to God — and God gave him the victory.

David had no one to turn to. No one to complain to or share his burden with. The very people who had loved and praised him now wanted to stone him. Yet David loved God and kept Him first.

Loving God wholeheartedly is not a suggestion. It is the only way to live an overcoming life.

Let us look to Jesus, who secured for us an impossible victory. God alone can be trusted and depended on. His promises never fail.

Prepare to meet Jesus.

Maranatha. Praise God. Amen.
