When Is God In Control?
Is God in control? Often, people say that God is in control. But still find life going out of control.
Christian talk is gaining popularity, but not the walk. Therein lies the truth about who is really in control.
The spirit of disobedience controls the unsaved (Ephesians 2:1-5). When we do not submit to God, we will be influenced by the same false spirits.
WHEN IS GOD IN CONTROL?
When we remain in the Word
When we seek the Holy Spirit's help
REMAINING IN THE WORD
When we sin, Satan is under control. When we abide in God's word, sin loses its grip (Psalm 119:11).
When we abide in God's word, He abides in us. We find ourselves experiencing great joy and purity as He shares His heart with us. (John 15:3)
SEEKING THE HOLY SPIRIT'S HELP
When we remain focused on bearing fruit for God's glory - God remains in control. Bearing fruit requires endurance as faith gets tested. The Holy Spirit nurtures the Word in us as we surrender, so we bear fruit.
Dear saint, love God wholeheartedly. His Word and Spirit will keep you till the end. Ask God questions. Seek His Word. Keep knocking till Jesus opens the door to heaven's eternal riches. Let Jesus be glorified daily in you.
