Why Is It Necessary To Trust God Fully?

All whose minds are stayed on God trust Him, and they will have perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).

We need patience. Patience is one of the nine aspects of the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23) and a quality found in every apostle and saint.

What Do We Need to Have Full Trust in God?

PURE HEARTS & MINDS

We need pure minds (2 Corinthians 11:3). Godly simplicity and devotion are key to following Christ. Daniel resolved in his heart not to eat the king's rich food during his stay in the palace (Daniel 1:8). Later, when Daniel was in the lions' den, he still had great peace. Yet the king, worrying over Daniel's fate, lost his own peace (Daniel 6:18).

HOLINESS

Daniel, along with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, walked in God's wisdom. They did not trust their own wisdom but surrendered to His (James 3:17). Jesus is our holiness, righteousness, and wisdom. Do not trust yourself — trust God alone.

WALK IN THE ANOINTING

Stephen had the face of an angel as he preached God's word (Acts 6:15). He was full of the Holy Spirit (Acts 7:55).

God creates in us a pure mind and holiness, and He helps us walk in the anointing. Preserve this wonderful work by daily surrendering your spirit, soul, and body in prayer and Bible study. The time is at hand.

Maranatha. Praise God. Amen.
